Here we have put together frequently asked questions about Liebherr configurable appliances.

Can I change the door hinge at a later date?

The door hinge can be changed later. Instructions for this can be found in the operating instructions that come with appliance, or these can be downloaded from


At which door opening angle can I easily remove the wooden shelves, grids / glass plates or drawers?

The fittings can be easily removed and operated with a door opening angle of 90°.



How will I know what my finished appliance will look like?

Your design, inside and out, is shown to you throughout the process, it can be printed and shared, and saved to review later. You can also ask questions and send feedback throughout the design process, using the links in the bottom right of the screen. Uploaded images are validated as they are added.


On which materials can I place a design?

The following materials are excluded from this function: BlackSteel, stainless steel, stainless steel front, stainless steel look, GlassBlack, glass.


I want to print an image on the appliance. What is the minimum resolution of the picture?

A resolution of at least 100 dpi is necessary for optimal print quality. The image can be .JPG, .JPEG or .PND format and must be at least 2331 x 2687 pixels. The configurator will advise you if your image does not have the required resolution. If your image is not the correct size for your chosen appliance, you can find free image resizing tools by typing "free image resizing tools" into your chosen search engine.


Can a picture also be attached to the back of the appliance?

The back cannot be customized.


My design sticks out over the edge of the appliance on the configurator. Will the image still be fully printed on the appliance?

The images are cut and continued in line with the edge of the appliance. You can find a visual representation on the configurator. The illustration shows how the images will be positioned and printed on the device.


Can I upload multiple pictures?

Yes. Several images can be uploaded, one after the other.


Can I insert multiple text fields?

Yes, several text fields can be inserted if desired.


Which pictures can I use for my refrigerator?

You can use any images / templates from the configurator's gallery.
You can upload your own images, however these must be in line with the following terms and conditions:

  • Your image must not infringe on anyone's Intellectual Property including, but not limited to trademarks, patents and copyrights.
  • Your image must not contravene any applicable law (including, without limitation, any criminal law) or regulation. It must not advocate, promote or assist any unlawful act.
  • Your image must not be false, inaccurate, misleading, offensive, abusive, threatening or defamatory, or that might cause needless distress, inconvenience or upset to any person. It must not harass, upset, embarrass or alarm any person.
  • Your image must not misrepresent identity or impersonates any person.
  • Your image must not include personal data about another person, such as their address, phone number, or email address, except with the written approval of that person.
  • Your image must not be pornographic, obscene, indecent or offensive, have sexual connotations, promote discrimination based on race, sex, religion, nationality, disability, sexual orientation or age, or incite hatred or violence against any person or group.
  • Your image must not give the impression that it originates from or has been approved by us, whether by reference to our name or otherwise.
  • Your image must not violate the integrity and reputation of our name, and the names of our partners.
  • Your image must not include or make reference to illegal substances.
  • Your image must not make reference to politicians' names and/or political statements.

Can I print from my favourite football team's logo on the appliance?

No, unfortunately this type of logo cannot be used, as otherwise we would violate the rights of third parties. Trademarks or logos protected by copyright can only be used if you are the owner of these rights or if you can provide us with written permission from the owner of the rights. Pictures for which we have the license and can be printed can be found in our gallery. By agreeing to our terms and conditions, you are liable for all claims made in the event of a trademark infringement.



What is the difference between "Select equipment individually" and "Equipment packages"?

With "Select equipment individually" you put the equipment together according to your wishes. You can select and add the equipment options such as glass shelves individually. With "equipment packages", a package of equipment options compiled by Liebherr is transferred to your appliance.


Can I choose additional equipment for "equipment packages"?

Yes, you can adapt the equipment packages at any time according to your wishes and add or remove equipment options.


Order process

How long is the delivery time for my appliance?

The delivery time always depends on the scope of the configuration and is displayed as an indication during the ordering process. Currently, the average is between 14 and 16 weeks. As soon as the appliance leaves the production site, you will receive a notification by email and you will be contacted by our delivery partner to arrange a delivery date.


How do I claim my extended guarantee for my MyStyle appliance?

All MyStyle appliances come with a free 5-year guarantee, or you can choose to upgrade to a 10-year guarantee for half price. We will contact you to get your choice when we confirm your order. If you choose a 5-year guarantee it will be automatically applied to your Customer Service account (Please note that this is not the same as your MyLiebherr account and you will need to register your appliance separately in there if you wish). If you choose a half price 10-year guarantee we will send you a discount code to purchase the guarantee via our webshop, once your appliance has been delivered.


Why is prepayment necessary?

Your appliance will be manufactured especially for you. For this reason, payment in advance is required. In the event of any issues with your design, for example, with difficult designs or necessary corrections on our part, you will receive a control design (graphic design of your product). Only after your approval of the control design will we start manufacturing. In cases where we send a control design, you can cancel and receive a full refund if you do not approve the control design.


Can I cancel my purchase?

After completing the order process including payment (and control design sign off if required), the purchase contract can no longer be withdrawn. Your device is specifically manufactured to your requirements. 


What if my appliance is damaged?

Although every care is taken to deliver our appliances in perfect condition, there are rare occasions where some damage occurs prior to delivery. We will check the condition of your appliance throughout the delivery process and upon arrival at your property. Should we find any damage to your appliance, we will replace the entire unit, and delivery of your replacement is subject to the standard lead times.


How does free recycling work?

All MyStyle appliances ordered between 19th July 2022 and 31st December 2023 come with optional recycling of your old appliance. We will contact you when confirming your order to discuss the collection of your old appliance at the same time as your MyStyle is delivered.

Please note that we will only collect one refrigeration appliance per MyStyle unit. The appliance being collected must be of a similar size and weight to, or smaller than the appliance being delivered. The appliance must be switched off and disconnected and will be taken at the same time as your delivery takes place. Some delivery restrictions apply, e.g. location of the collection appliance - these will be discussed with you before collection is arranged. Collection by pre-arrangement only.


Printing and production

Which printing process does Liebherr use for the MyStyle appliance?

The printing takes place in the direct printing process at our factory. This involves using an industrial UV inkjet printer. This process ensures special colour brilliance and enables easy cleaning of the surfaces.


Where is the appliance produced?

All of our MyStyle appliances are manufactured in the EU, in Austria, Germany and Bulgaria.
