What do you need to use the HNGRYnsite fridge camera?

To make the most of the HNGRYnsite fridge camera, you should have a fridge with door shelves. To use all of the camera’s functions, you will need to install the HNGRY app on your smartphone. The smartphone needs to be running either the Android or iOS operating systems and have an active Internet connection. Another advantage of the HNGRYnsite fridge camera is that it is battery operated, meaning that you don’t have to worry about connecting any cables. A corresponding USB-C charging cable is included. You will then be perfectly equipped to revolutionise how your fridge is organised.

It’s also important that your home network and your router support the IEEE 802.11 b/g/n standard in the 2.4-GHz band to ensure a seamless connection between the camera and your smartphone.

How do I begin installing HNGRYnsite?

Scan the QR code

Open the HNGRYnsite packaging and scan the QR code using your smartphone. Alternatively, you can let the HNGRY app guide you through the installation process step by step, including videos.

Install via the app

Already installed the HNGRY app and signed up for an account? Then you can begin setting up your fridge camera directly in the app. In the ‘Storage’ area, click on the menu icon (three dots) at the top right and select ‘Add HNGRYnsite’. You can then continue the setup process.

How long does the HNGRYnsite camera’s battery last?

The HNGRYnsite was developed with energy efficiency in mind. Its battery is not only powerful, but was also designed to save energy. The fridge camera switches itself off automatically as soon as the fridge door is closed. The actual battery life will vary depending on use. The battery lasts for up to three months with standard use.

What steps are required to charge your HNGRYnsite’s battery?

When it’s time to charge the camera’s battery, remove the HNGRYnsite from its bracket, connect it to the supplied USB-C cable and a USB mains adapter (not included) and plug into the mains. The battery will be fully charged in a few hours. If the battery has been completely discharged, charging can take up to six hours.

Tip: For quick charging, use a mains adapter providing at least 2 A and 5 VDC.

In which countries can I purchase and use the HNGRYnsite fridge camera?

At present, the camera can be ordered via our web shop in Germany, Austria and the United Kingdom (excluding Northern Ireland). Please ensure that both the billing and delivery addresses are located in one of these countries.

How do I check the HNGRYnsite camera’s battery level?

To keep up to date with your camera’s battery status, proceed as follows:

1. Open the HNGRY app and select the camera image.

2. Scroll to the ‘Battery’ area to see the current charge level in percent.

When the LED on your camera lights up red or a low battery level is shown in the app, you should charge the camera.
