Low-vibration storage
Even slight vibrations can disturb the wine maturing process and prevent the tannins from settling. Specially developed, exceptionally low-vibration compressors in all the wine cabinets mean that the wine is optimally stored.
Ideal humidity
Maintaining the proper humidity is an important aspect for the storage of wines. In this way, corks remain supple and do not dry out. Wine should be stored in a horizontal position to keep the corks moist from the inside. With over 50 % air humidity, wine cabinets guarantee the perfect conditions. The air humidity can be controlled as required in the wine storage cabinets by pressing the ventilation button.

The FreshAir activated charcoal filter cleans the circulating air and quickly binds unpleasant odours. It is easy to replace and ensures optimum air quality. It should be replaced every year.
The flexible clip-on labelling system provides a quick and orderly overview of the wines in store. With rewritable cards for easy replacement.
The robust stainless steel handle for EWTdf 16 / 23 / 35 appliances allows the door to be opened with little effort. If you are using your own custom panels, you can purchase this handle separately and install it in your custom panel.
The door opening angle is set to 115° at the plant, but this can be reduced to 90° by simply inserting the stable pin in the hinge. This prevents the door from crashing into walls or neighbouring furnishings and damaging them.
The stainless steel cleaner removes fingerprints, streaks and stains from stainless steel surfaces quickly, reliably and without streaks while also preventing rust. It must not be used to clean SmartSteel surfaces.
With the high-quality and easy-to-install stainless steel frame the EWT model can be integrated in any kitchen. The robust stainless steel handle allows the door to be opened with little effort. The holes for the stainless steel handles are already provided in the stainless steel frame.
The stainless steel polish allows stainless steel surfaces to be polished gently. The polish is not suitable for SmartSteel surfaces.

What is this warning about?
We believe our products are not harmful when used as designed, we provide this warning as a result of a unique law passed in California in 1986 called “Proposition 65.”
Proposition 65 requires a warning to be included with any product sold in California that can expose a customer to any of the 900-plus chemicals that the State of California regulates.
The purpose of Proposition 65 is to notify consumers that they are being exposed to chemicals that are known to cause cancer and/or reproductive toxicity.
