The prerequisites for this are a Liebherr Business Account and a SmartMonitoring-enabled refrigerator or freezer, including compatible hardware (SmartModule). If you have purchased a “Perfection” or “Performance” series appliance, you can also scan the QR code attached to the appliance directly.

Yes. To ensure that you are informed immediately in the event of an emergency, we offer an additional licence for this type of notification. In contrast to the SmartMonitoring basic licences, however, you do not have to purchase this for all individual refrigerators and freezers ("measuring sites"), but only once in the form of a 36-month company licence.

With the Liebherr "Perfection" and "Performance" product ranges, you can connect your refrigerators and freezers not only with SmartMonitoring, but also with your own monitoring software.

We offer a local interface for this, which gives you maximum flexibility and control over your data. The prerequisite for this is a networkable Liebherr appliance including SmartModule and the purchase of an appliance-dependent licence.

After activating the local interface, you can retrieve the data directly from your refrigerator or freezer without the need for a cloud or SmartMonitoring.

The SmartMonitoring dashboard shows you the most important information about your refrigerators and freezers at a glance. Any deviations from the norm are displayed immediately at the top of the dashboard. The dashboard also contains overviews of your appliances, the appliance status, and past alarms.

Alarms are triggered in different situations when the safety of the goods stored in the refrigerators and freezers is not guaranteed. You will be informed immediately about these deviations so that you can react in time.

Examples of alarms are a power failure, problems with the emergency battery, the SmartModule, a door that has been open too long or temperature values that are too high or too low.

Yes. You can optionally configure additional alarms in SmartMonitoring. This type of alarm is independent of automatic appliance alarms and can be used to provide even more security.

No. The temperature setting of the appliances is done exclusively on the respective appliance. In SmartMonitoring, these temperature limits are visualised and you as a user are informed in case of deviations.

Reports are generated per unit in SmartMonitoring. When creating a report, you define which period (e.g., whole month or individually configurable time) the report covers, at which intervals automatic reports are sent to which e-mail addresses, as well as the type of report.

For the Foodservice sector, we offer a HACCP compliant report. For the healthcare and scientific sector, we also offer a temperature compliance report. Both automate your documentation obligations towards external auditors and ensures the safety of stored goods.

If a networkable unit has been selected in SmartMonitoring, you can view detailed temperature data in the history. Data is clearly visualised and can be filtered individually. In addition, an overview of generated reports of the appliance, a list of past alarms and configured additional alarms as well as general information about your appliance are available.

Yes. To do this, select the desired appliance in SmartMonitoring and first define the time span for your download in the appliance history. With a click on the download button, you can download the values shown in the table as a .csv file.

SmartMonitoring is a licence-based application. Each refrigeration or freezer ("measure side") therefore requires a valid licence to be used with SmartMonitoring.

To view data from a unit in the SmartMonitoring dashboard, a licence must be assigned to the unit.

The administrator manages the user roles of the SmartMonitoring users via the MyLiebherr portal. There are two different user roles, the administrator and the user.

The administrator can operate all functions and see all appliances. He can manage different refrigerators and freezers, buy and assign licences, change appliance properties, edit appliance groups or manage alarm settings. In addition, he can give users permissions for seeing appliances.

The user receives the appropriate permissions from the administrator for handling the refrigerators and freezers.

Yes, via the MyLiebherr portal you can invite additional work colleagues with just a few clicks. They must then create an account under your Liebherr Business Account, which you manage as administrator and then assign the appropriate rights to the new users.

SmartMonitoring is currently supported in the eight languages German, English, French, Spanish, Italian, Dutch, Polish and Czech. The language displayed can be set individually for each user. This means that each employee can use the language he or she prefers.

We show historical data for a period of three months. This includes data for the temperature history, alarm lists or reports. Reports that have already been created are even available retrospectively for six months.

Please save your historical data locally for your individual retention periods and documentation obligations.

The protection of your (personal) data is a top priority for us, which is why we have described the data processing around the use of SmartMonitoring as transparently as possible in our data protection notices.

In our data protection notices, we have stored who is responsible for processing your data, what data is processed for what purpose and on what legal basis, and who the internal and external recipients of your data are. Overall, we have strictly adhered to Art. 13 / 14 of the DSGVO when describing data processing in SmartMonitoring.

We take the protection of your data very seriously and comply with the regulations of the DSGVO. For secure data transmission, we use modern encryption methods and rely on current standards for authentication and authorisation.

Data storage takes place exclusively within the EU on the servers of our service providers. We use the Azure cloud from Microsoft. This meets the highest security standards in Europe.

The underlying cloud infrastructure complies with ISO 27001 and ISO 27018 certifications, among others.
